Burway News Headlines
REGRET TO ADVISE THAT THE

Many thanks to all of you
who have entered the Head in Feb,
fingers tightly crossed
for good weather and river conditions
Congratulations to the Boxing Day VIIIs that retained the trophy from Staines on their stretch of the Thames
Last year’s news

A new Captain & Committee will take up their roles for the forthcoming year
Burway Small Boats Head
A huge thanks you to all of you who helped make the day a great success
Umpires, marshals, coordinators, contributors and catering of course. But never forgetting the competitors whose patronage we sincerely appreciate and hope you enjoyed the day
…and congrats to Henry on picking up another well deserved win
Annual General Meeting
The AGM has be set for the
23rd October at 12 Noon.
Light refreshments will be served
Come along and take the opportunity
to steer the course of the club
Night rowing is not approved at Burway because of the challenging course
that one has to navigate and
going out at this time of year is prone
to being caught out by the looming darkness.
As a matter of course
all boats going out should have lights on,
flashing front and steady back lights
To ensure not getting caught out by dusk
" NOTE to all Club Juniors"
There will be a meeting for all club juniors on Sunday 11th September at 8.00 o'clock sharp at the clubhouse to discuss the coming TRAINING AND RACING SEASON.
Please try to be there.
